Quan Lan Island is one of the more relaxed retreats here. High hills run from the Van Don Range to Got Mount, which protect several little hamlets. The long slender island also has several kilometers of attractive sandy beaches on each side.
There also has many archaeological sites and pagodas, including Quan Lạn Pagoda which is the most high profile pagoda on Quan Lan Island, dedicated to both God Liêu Hạnh and Buddha. The 18th century Quan Lạn Communal House is also a popular tourist attraction, and glass making is all around
